Who are you?

Hi! My name is Meg and I’m an entertainment editor by day with a focus on superhero content—that means everything from the comics themselves to the movies and TV that are currently throttling the pop culture zeitgeist for everything its worth.

This means that I consume a lot of superhero stuff, both for work and for fun. The nice thing about turning your hobby into your full time job is that you’re always doing something you’re extremely passionate about. The bad thing about turning your hobby into your full time job is that it’s extremely difficult to be passionate in a formal setting day in and day out.

So!! That’s where this whole venture comes in.

What is this?

This news letter is going to attempt to distill some of that into an easy, informal weekly email that gives you some ““quality”” recommendations for, well, everything in the superhero wheelhouse. Primarily, I’ll be focusing on comics, both new and old, as well as fan-made stuff—highlighting different fanfics, fanartists, even fan mixes I find that I think deserve some time in the spotlight.

It’s gonna get really queer. It’s going to probably zero in on some absurd comics history stuff I want to talk about for no real reason. It’ll probably fixate on the handful of characters I specialize in.

If you know me from Twitter or any other corner of the internet , you’ve probably got some idea of what you’re in for. I’d say I’m sorry, but you signed up for this. Don’t forget that.

What else?

In addition to superhero stuff, I’ll probably also include at least one completely arbitrary and randomly selected Cool Reptile Fact in each issue. Consider that an added value.
